The band got together through the jam session band at Hemsby people liked it that much we gave it a go as a gigging band. Played most the big venues across the UK also some of the smaller gigs we just love to play and entertain the fantastic audiences that come to see us without them we wouldn't be where we are today. The band went from strength to strength with a few changes to the line up along the way until we all got back together as the original band. Then we lost James our original Harp play and guitarist R.I.P so it came to a stop as we missed his and still do to this day. After a long while the question was asked shall we get together have a bit of a jam and see where it goes. We have Craig Shaw joining us on harp for this 'one off' exclusive London gig. The band have released fair few CDs and featured on lots of compilation CDs HIPBONE SLIM & THE KNEEJERKS-RARE LONDON SHOW! This is a brand-new incarnation of a band that has previously recorded 15 albums as Hipbone Slim and the Kneetemblers, The Kneejerk Reactions and The Crowntoppers on Voodoo Rhythm, Beast, Dirty Water, Folc etc. It features 3 stalwarts of the UK garage/rock n roll scene. The band is led by Hipbone Slim aka Sir Bald Diddley on guitar/vocals along with drummer Bruce Brand (Milkshakes, Headcoats, Masonics and 2 Link in Wray albums!) plus Pete Scoundrel of Thee Cybermen on bass.
